We met with fitness model Justin St Paul at PT Workspace in London to run through a full body workout routine that will help get you guys in shape for Summer.

We asked Justin St Paul to show us a workout plan for men that looks at the following;

  • How to gain muscle
  • How to get big arms, exercises for triceps, exercises for biceps
  • Chest exercises
  • Back exercises
  • Leg exercises
  • Antagonistic muscles
  • Superset workouts
  • Dumbbell exercises

 

Workout plan for men:

Exercise one:

Firstly Justin St Paul took us through the back squat. Justin talks about how it’s the king of exercises and how it works the core and legs. Justin teaches you how to squat with the correct form for one the best compound exercises you can do.

Exercise two:

The second exercise is the deadlift, Justin St Pauls Favourite exercise. Justin comments on how important form is, how this exercise burns a lot of calories and how it builds the back and legs.

Exercise Three: 

The third exercise is the first of the superset workouts. Justin combines a vertical press with a vertical pull to create a shoulder workout. This involves a standing dumbbell shoulder press and a bodyweight pull up. 

Exercise Four:

The second of the superset workouts. Justin St Paul combines a horizontal press with a horizontal pull. The two exercises used are the chest supported dumbbell row and the dumbbell chest press.

Exercise Five:

The final of the superset workouts, a superset arm workout. This involves dumbbell bicep curls and kettlebell skull crushers.
