Tattoos have fascinated both men and women for decades. There’s something about a sexy body covered in ink that gives that person an added edge.

Women with tattoos seem to divide men. Some are put off, the other half can’t get enough. This is beginning to change in modern era. As we all become more accepting, tattoos in general are being preferred, certainly when it comes to tattooed women.

The attraction associated with a tattooed body is amplified greatly when that individual is highly attractive. There’s something about tattoos on toned, curved or muscular assets that give them a boost, a little like a border around text.

When it comes to tattooed men, there’s a bad boy image associated with this look. Women on the other hand can create a balance. Women with tattoos can have the face of an angel and a good girl image, but seeing her body covered in tattoos always keeps you questioning if she has another side.

Below are 11 women who do just that. Women with tattoos who also have the face of an angel and the bodies to match. Enjoy you ink lovers!

Heidi Lavon

Heidi was kind enough to help us by featuring in a short tattoo related interview which you can read below.

When you got your first tattoo did you always know it would evolve to the way you look today, or was it a more gradual piece by piece progression that you grew to love?

Honestly – I fell in love with artwork from a young age. My mom used to give me crap
Cuz I’d come home from school with pen drawings all over me. I’d let my friends draw on me a lot. I think it’s funny and ironic how things turned out now that I’m a heavily tattooed adult. Funny how some things turn out right?

Once you go down the full-coverage tattoo path does it become harder to get employed? Or is that view changing as modern employers have much less of an issue with the topic?

That’s DEF changed as the years go on. There will still be that type of conservative In some places however in bigger more “trendy hipster” type cities – tattoos are becoming the norm.
I live around the Portland Oregon area – which is basically hipsterville. So everyone here is either a tattoo artist, bartender, hairstylist, or barista. Plus I’m 100% self employed so it makes no difference at all what I look like considering I’m my own boss. I’m so very fortunate to have it that way.

Considering you look like such a badass, would you say from experience that men are intimidated by women who don’t fall into the old-school submissive stereotype?

Maybe some dudes are – however it’s more like fascination instead. Even more clean cut dudes are drawn to colorfully decked out women. People in general are. They have so many questions. Sometimes feels a bit invading though. Like I don’t walk up to someone with a deformation or disability and start reaching out to touch them because I’m enamored with what they look like. The sad thing though is so many other people do that to me just because of how many tattoos I have. This isn’t a petting zoo dude.

Are there any tattoos you wish you never got done?

I wish I did a FULL back piece all together. I have my entire upper back / back of the neck tattooed but I don’t have my lower back done. I don’t feel like it’s 100% cohesive.
Luckily for me I’m just a go with the flow kinda gal. I only had one cover up and I’m glad I did something about it. I’m a huge horror and movie fan – but I had a crappy Jason Voorhees hockey mask that was one of my first tattoos I got done in an upstairs apartment by an apprentice. I later had a legit artist throw a black panther head over it. Thankfully it covers it well.

What advice would you give to men or women who like the way someone like you looks and are ready to embark on their very own ink journey?

I’d say – think about what you love the most and run with it. Mine are movies and my childhood cuz I had such a great one. So a lot of my tattoos are childhood and movie related. Mostly childhood movies specifically. Also – leave your back alone until you know what you want 100% 😉

The way the two biggest guys in the gym may compare lifts, or the two prettiest girls at a party may glance at each other, is the tattoo industry similar in terms of competition, or is it more supportive due to the shared interest?

It comes down to whose being fake or not.
I keeps it real 100% of the time. I’m very transparent with my social media platforms and I wish more people kept it that way as well. I prefer to talk about and be more open about the shit people aren’t too excited to talk about as it definitely makes me more relatable. That’s really important. I know in seconds if someone is gonna be fake with me. Im like a blood hound for that type of behavior. For the most – girls are pretty supportive. Especially in the tattoo industry. I lend any help or knowledge to any up and coming models who may need help or who have questions simply because I wish I had that type of influence when I was coming up. More models need to share their experiences with newer models. It’s like a big sister little sister kind of thing.

Are there any areas of the body that you would never tattoo?

My eyes for sure.
It looks cool but even I have boundaries I won’t cross. So weird to hear or even see myself saying such things 😉

Could you walk us through a couple of your favourite tattoos. what they are, why you got them and what they mean?

Actually I made two Tattoo Tour videos for my YouTube channel. I would love for my readers to watch them!
