Sam Asghari is a male fitness model, trainer and boyfriend of popstar Britney Spears. 1STMAN managed to get an interview with Sam before anyone else in the world. Here is what he had to say when we met with him.

1. What sacrifices did you make in order to change your life?

One of the biggest sacrifices I’ve made to change my life and also to change my career was around 2 years ago. I had to change my life goal which was to become a police officer. Right in the middle of becoming a police officer I understood that my passion was else where. I was way more passionate about fitness modeling and acting.

2. What motivated you to get in shape?

The Biggest Reason why I was motivated to lose all that fat and to get in the best shape of my life was one night on a Saturday I found myself very alone and very bored “without a date” so I figured I already workout, might as well clean up the diet and look even better. I joined Gold’s gym as an employee and also motivated others to get in better shape and to look better.

3. What have your learned about women after being around the likes of Abigail Ratchford and Jenna Jenovich?

I was a very shy person growing up, even all through high school, after being in the industry for such a short amount of time I’ve gained massive confidence. I’ve Learned that there is nothing a woman likes about an over a confident man, not too cocky, just a very humble gentleman, no girl I know likes cocky.

4. What are your top 3 tips for achieving success?

3 tips for achieving success is never settle for mediocrity! I notice people always settle for being just fine or doing just fine, sometimes you just have to sit and think…do I really want this 9-5 job, do I really want to work for someone else my whole life or better yet is this the best that I could do? Really?

Next tip that I always have to remind myself is that “When was the last time you really tried to get something and you gave it all you had and never got it” I mean you gave it 110 percent, everything you had and never got it? Almost never, so give everything you got and I promise you, you will get whatever it is!

The Last tip is ignore what others have to say, sometimes even the loved ones will tell you never to do something, if your heart tells you to do it, do it. I’ve been told never to play football when I was 13 because I was small. I was 6’2 255 when I was a sophomore in high school. Also I was told modeling was a waste of time and acting, but its been the best move Ive made. Just follow your heart.

5. How important is daily self improvement for men?

Self Improvement is the most important thing a man needs to focus on. Every single day! Read a book, increase your knowledge, add value to your life, exercise, practice your craft. Very important!
