What’s being called a third generation design, the new Cayenne is incredibly more powerful and lighter.

Featuring similar exterior to the older models, but a completely reveamped interior, the Cayenne may have mastered the perfect balance in terms of visual design.

The Cayenne has always been an attractive car, however little effort was put into the interior. The new Cayenne however looks terrific inside and out, creating a more complete experience from a car that has been built for day to day use.

With a 65kg lighter aliminum body and a 48v electrical system, this car has many more changes below the surface than we’d immediately recognize.

Porsche CEO Oliver Blume said, “The new Cayenne is a Porsche by all means and with no compromises.”

He also claimed that the 911 was a huge inspiration for the new Cayenne.

With 4 wheel drive systems and the ability to feel just as comfortable on modern roads, the new Cayenne is a huge threat to the Range Rover Sport as the ideal all-purpose car.

Surprisingly the Cayenne has the same engine as the Panamera…a turbocharged 3-litre V6. This enables the Cayenne to reach 0-62mph in 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 152mph, an improvement on the old model.
